Upholstery cleaning, fabric checked first

We clean upholstery in Dubai Creek Harbour and Meydan homes after checking each fabric first. Where a stain or odour is organic, such as sweat, body oils, food or pet accidents, we may use an enzyme pretreatment before extraction. Where the fabric is not suitable, we say so before starting.

Upholstery cleaning in Dubai Creek Harbour and Meydan homes

Dubai Creek Harbour is mostly high-rise apartment towers, while Meydan has a mix of apartments, townhouses and villas. A few details help us quote accurately and arrive ready.

  • Larger homes with several seating areas. List every sofa and its seat count, plus dining chairs and mattresses, so one visit covers everything.
  • Apartment towers. Tell us the building and floor. If parking, lift use or building entry needs to be arranged in advance, let us know and we will plan the visit around it.
  • Community access. If your community or building requires visitor registration, tell us what details are needed. We confirm arrival time and access with you before the visit.
  • Power and water. DEWA water and electricity must be on, as our extraction machines need both.

How each item is cleaned

  1. Inspect: we identify the fabric, check the care label and note any existing marks or damage.
  2. Test a hidden area: we apply the intended product and process to a small hidden area, then watch it for 15–20 minutes for colour transfer, bleeding, texture change or water marks. Where a fabric could react later, we let the test dry and check again. We only continue if the test passes.
  3. Enzyme pretreatment, where appropriate: only after a passed test, on suitable fabrics and organic stains, applied and left to work as the product directs.
  4. Controlled extraction, where suitable: hot-water/steam extraction set to the fabric, using measured moisture and dry passes to limit wetting of cushions and mattress cores. Not every fabric is suitable for extraction; if yours is not, we tell you before starting. More on how we clean upholstery.
  5. Drying and handover: we give drying guidance for that fabric and walk through the result with you.

When we do not use enzyme or wet cleaning. Leather, suede, delicate velvets, silk or viscose rugs, and items whose care label rules out water need a separate assessment. If the hidden-area test shows colour transfer or any reaction, we stop.

What to send for a quote

  • The items and quantities (for sofas, the number of seats)
  • Photos of each item and close-ups of any stains
  • A photo of the care label, if there is one
  • What caused the stain or smell, if you know
  • Your building or community in Creek Harbour or Meydan

Team allocation, arrival time and any access arrangements are confirmed with you when we quote. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Before we arrive. DEWA water and electricity must be on, as our equipment needs both. Clear small items from sofas and beds, and keep pets in another room during the clean.

What to expect. Results depend on the fabric, the stain and how long it has been there. Old or set-in stains may not fully lift, and existing wear or damage will remain. We do not guarantee complete stain or odour removal.

Frequently asked questions

Do you cover my part of Dubai Creek Harbour and Meydan?

Send your building or community with your photos and we will confirm before booking.

Is enzyme treatment safe for my sofa?

It depends on the fabric. We test a hidden area first and only use enzyme pretreatment where the fabric and stain are suitable.

Will it remove pet or sweat odour?

Enzyme pretreatment targets organic residue that causes many odours, but results vary and we cannot guarantee full removal. We tell you what is likely to improve after the test.

How long until I can use the sofa?

Drying depends on the fabric, ventilation and humidity. We give you drying guidance for your items at handover.

Can you clean curtains without taking them down?

Often, yes. We confirm after checking the fabric, lining and rail access; some curtains need a different method.

Is there a minimum booking?

Yes, the minimum booking is AED 200.

Do you clean leather sofas?

Leather needs a separate assessment. Send photos and the care label and we will tell you what we can do.

Can you give me a price over the phone?

We quote after seeing photos of each item, so the price reflects the real size, fabric and condition.
